We Need Your Help!
Volunteers are vital to the
existence of our organization. We can use your contributions of time, money, and/or talent. The
following list are some of the activities that we could use your help with:
Adoption Days at Petsmart
- Screening applicants to "sniff
out" the best new parents for our dogs and cats.
- Dog-walking and paw-holding during the
adoption fair.
- Setting up crates before the fair, or
take-down after
- Transporting crates to
Petsmart once a month
- Cat care-taker
- Groomer
Committee Work
- Volunteer recruitment program.
- Assisting with public relations and fund
raising.
Misc "Other" Essential Tasks
- Assist wtih our
fundraising, Trivia Night
- Assist with our
newsletter
- Screening applicants to "sniff
out" the best new parents for our dogs and cats.
Foster Homes
& Animal Care
- Offer short-term
"baby-sitting" when foster owner is out of town.
- Chauffer pets to
in-home visit or vet appointment.
- Provide a loving
foster home for pets awaiting adoption.
Volunteer your
money!
- As a non-profit rescue
group, our survival (and our animal's) is based on contributions and adoption
fees. Many of our animals come to us in medical need and your donations
can directly help an animal in need. In addition, we use our funds
to assist the foster homes' supply of food. The entire "staff" of IMPACT
are volunteers, so you can rest assured that all donations directly benefit
the animals, and only the animals!
