Sammi
was rescued from a crack house in a very tough neighborhood around 5 years ago. She was adopted by a
wonderful woman named Marge. In September of 2011, Sammi graduated from
the St. Louis Chapter of Love on Leash pet therapy program. Sammi now shares her tail wags and loving heart with special education students and nursing home residents. You might even catch her being read to by a youngster at a county library branch. She sure is a crowd favorite! In addition, Sammi is a part of the Love on a Leash Canine Drill team, doing fancy foot work to such old time favorites as St. Louie Blues and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Way to go Sammi! |

Lily Lou was adopted in August of 2010 as a young puppy. After completing puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and earning her STAR puppy
and CGC certificates, Lily Lou completed training to become a therapy
pet. In September, 2011, Lily and her mom, Pam graduated and became a
registered Love on a Leash pet therapy team. Lily is always so happy and
eager to share love while she visits libraries, special
education settings, and nursing homes. Lily is also on
the canine drill team, and especially brings the house down when she
salutes at the end of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. What a gal! |
