If you are interested in adopting one of our loving pets, we require all prospective families to complete our dog or cat adoption application form and
the adoption agreement form. You can submit these online, or complete
them and snail mail them to the address provided at the end of the
forms. If you use US Postal mail, please also call our voice mail so we know to be watching for your application. (314)-995-9260
After the completed forms are received, an IMPACT representative will contact you for an interview. You may be asked to participate in a home visit. IMPACT strives to assess the animal's needs and carefully screen applicants to ensure that every animal is placed in a compatible and permanent home. When multiple applications are received on the same pet, the placement decision is made based on which family will be best suited to meet the pet's unique and individual needs. We reserve the right to refuse any application.
We maintain open communication with our adoptive families in an effort to head off problems that may result in the return of a pet. We also maintain an open door policy regarding the return of any animal placed through our organization.
